Agriculture. Hockley's strength in acaricides has been boosted by the addition of new products based on the active ingredients Abamectin and Dicofol. Hockley Abamectin controls a wide range of mites, leafminers, suckers, beetles and other insects on ornamentals, cotton, citrus fruit, pome fruit, vegetables, potatoes etc.

 

Hockley Dicofol is available in both EC and WP formulations and as a contact acaricide controls many species of phytophagous mites finding application on a wide variety of crops including fruit, vines, ornamentals, vegetables and field crops. These two new products complement the success of Hockley Amitraz. The introduction of Hockley Carbosulfan both as an EC for foliar application and granules for soil application strengthens the insecticide range. This versatile systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action controls a wide range of soil dwelling and foliar insect pests on crops such as cotton, sugar beet, potatoes, rice, top fruit, citrus, maize, vegetables, sugar cane and coffee. The herbicide range has been extended to include formulations of Dicamba, the popular selective weedkiller. To strengthen its position in nitroaniline herbicides Hockley has introduced Pendimethalin which is of particular interest to control weeds in crops such as soya beans, sunflower, tobacco, rice and peanuts.

 

Finally the range of agricultural fungicides is complemented by Chlorothalonil the versatile foliar fungicide with protective action suitable for application to most crops. web site design by
