Hockley celebrates 30 years in business

Hockley International celebrates 30 years since the company’s incorporation this month.

 

Although chairman Frank Howard’s story stretches back to 1979 with Hockley’s first incarnation – as Mostyn Chemicals Ltd – it was July 1991 when Hockley International began.

Hockley was formed after a merger and management buyout, and was named after the office’s location in Poynton, Cheshire. From there, the business experienced steady growth for around 20 years which led to a move to our current site in south Manchester.

As a family run business, we have always tried to create a happy and productive environment and are fortunate to have many members of staff who have been with us for a large part of this time.

This important anniversary has, of course, fallen in a very challenging year for us and for many businesses due to the pandemic. During this last year or so, we have valued more than ever the great support of our customers around the world, our partners and our staff as we continued the day to day running of Hockley.

It’s our hope that we can get everyone together very soon to celebrate.
